Statistics Plan

Communities Analytical Services has recently made its statistical plan for 2014-15 and beyond available on the Scottish Government Website. This plan covers statistical work on housing, planning, the Scottish Household Survey, the Scottish House Condition Survey, equalities, income and poverty.

The key issues this covers includes completing a number of methodological projects to enhance the quality of data provided through the SHS and ensure relevant metadata and documentation is in place to facilitate greater understanding of the data itself. Another key strand of work is in undertaking an SHS Survey Review to reaffirm the identity and purpose of the survey. Further information on this available though Stakeholder Engagment.

We are happy receive comments on our statistics planning arrangements throughout the year - any comments can be taken forward as part of the consideration of the subsequent years workplan.
