People and Culture in Scotland - User Event - April 2010

Purpose

The purpose of the event was to provide users and potential users of culture statistics with the opportunity to learn more about cultural statistics available from the SHS. In addition, users had the opportunity to express their views on recent SHS culture statistics publications and discuss priorities for future analysis and publications.

A half day event was held within the Scottish Government Victoria Quay building on 1 April 2010. An invitation was sent to a number of stakeholders

Summary of Event

All presentations and notes from the workshops were circulated to attendees after the event with an invite for further comments. All these notes and feedback have been combined into a stakeholder summary report.

Evaluations of the event were also provided by the event participants.

Feedback from the user event will help to inform future decisions including:
