ATKINSON REVIEW IN SCOTLAND
The Atkinson Review considered the future development of government output, productivity and associated prices indices for the UK national accounts - recognising important related factors, such as the quality of outputs.
In response to the review, the Executive published a Scotland-focused implementation strategy in June 2005 to serve as a public statement of its intentions in this important area of statistics. The strategy committed the Executive to review its initial action plans at regular intervals and to produce updated action plans.
