The main aim of this Theme is to produce evidence and tools that will help to improve the adoption of healthy, sustainable diets by the people of Scotland. This includes research into the effect of dietary components on human health (especially obesity), consumer behaviour, improvements in the nutritional quality, safety and sustainability of food products, and opportunities for the food & drink industry.
