Report to Scottish Ministers

This report presents the findings of the Working Group: Scotland Without Nuclear Weapons which met in 2008 - 2009 and was chaired by the Minister for Parliamentary Business. The report outlines the findings of the group by subject area including Economic Impact, Political and Legal Issues, Regulation, and Peace and Reconciliation.

The Scottish Government Response welcomes the report and outlines the recommendations to be taken forward under current devolution arrangements.

The Scottish Government remains opposed to the possession, threat and use of nuclear weapons, and continues to take proactive steps towards encouraging nuclear disarmament.
