Public, third and private sector organisations must work more effectively together in order to improve children’s services and outcomes.
The RCS Development Programme, and the associated on-going support and facilitation provided aims to create the necessary conditions for children’s services transformation through a focus on partnership working, improvement methodology and implementation science.
The structured 3-day Development Programme will include input on the strategic commissioning cycle, the impact of other national landscape changes e.g. health and social care integration and self-directed support and also contributions from some excellent subject matter experts.
Through both the structured day events and on-going facilitation, the RCS Development Adviser and Data and Evidence Adviser will help prepare sites to optimise use of their collated children’s well-being data and to create focussed discussion and efforts towards the development of a commissioning strategy.
Both advisers will also provide input into an RCS Learning Network where local authority areas taking part in RCS are able to share valuable learning.
