Family Nurse Partnership is a licensed programme, which means that the Scottish Ministers are accountable for the quality of the delivery. This is measured using core data, collected by all sites, against agreed model elements of expected inputs and outcomes.
For evidence-based programmes, such as Family Nurse Partnership, to be successfully replicated and deliver their intended outcomes outside of research environments it is important they are implemented in line with the original programme model.
Scottish Ministers have a service level agreement (SLA) with NHS Boards as a framework for delivering the programme locally.
