Social Entrepreneurs Fund

The £1 million Social Entrepreneurs Fund, launched in November 2008, is aimed at individuals who want to set up and run a business with a social or environmental purpose. The fund will provide financial and business support to help get new enterprises off the ground. An additional £500,000 has been made available for the Social Entrepreneurs Fund to keep it open until March 2012.

For more information on the Social Enterprise Fund, see the Social Entrepreneurs Award Strategy.

The fund will be managed by Firstport on behalf of the Scottish Government.
