The Evaluation Framework [see below] ensures that Individual CashBack projects and the overall programme are subject to evaluation to assess the impact of outcomes that are being delivered.
Evaluation reports of individual initiatives are on the CashBack website [http://www.cashbackforcommunities.org/impact] as are the evaluations of the programme.
The latest independant evaluation of the programme (2014-15) can be downloaded below.
An independent external evaluation was also published in June 2014:
The booklet which accompanied the evaluation provides case studies of the impact on individual young people:
A Scottish Government report prepared in 2011 provided an analysis of the monitoring data provided by the original seven Cashback partners: Scottish Football Association (SFA), Scottish Rugby Union (SRU), Basketball Scotland, Creative Identities, Personal Development Programme, Youthlink and Arts and Business. It was based on information that was available at that particular point in time and was limited by less comprehensive data collection methods than now currently in use. The information in this document was used to help inform the status of the CashBack Programme at that time. As such, any statistics and analysis should be interpreted with necessary caution.
