Making Justice Work (MJW) is modernising Scotland's justice system, working to make it fair and accessible, cost effective and efficient, and to better meet the needs of the people of Scotland.
Aims and Objectives
MJW is a portfolio of programmes and projects making a significant contribution to the delivery of our justice outcomes and shaping some of the most sustantial changes to the justice system in over a century.
The portfolio is drawing together the various justice organisations to deliver improved public services through a consistent and coherent programme of delivery.
It brings together a range of reforms to the structure and processes of courts, access to justice, tribunals and administrative justice.
Proposals are currently being developed to establish a new MJW advisory board.
