We are keen to encourage the development of equipment and adaptation services through the sharing and promotion of good practice across Scotland. We have also developed two good practice guides, one for equipment and one for adaptations. Self evaluation toolkits have also been developed to accompany these guides.

Good practice guides have been developed for the provision of both equipment and major adaptations.
Self evaluation toolkits for equipment and major adaptations have also been published. To encourage a more standard approach to evaluation these were developed in line with the evaluation model used in the Social Work Inspection Agency (SWIA) Performance Improvement Model (PIM):
