The procurement strategies for Networks are developed in conjunction with the Scottish Wide Area Network (SWAN) Programme Board and the procurement Centres of Expertise. Benefits include maximising efficiency through collaboration, delivery and demonstration of real cash savings, embedding sustainable procurement and improving access to public sector contracts. The strategy is in line with Scotland's Digital Future - Delivery of Public Services and the Public Procurement Reform Programme. The frameworks support the SWAN programme and its objectives.
The ICT Networks portfolio consists of the following national frameworks / arrangements:
Fixed Telephony Services
Network Enablement Services
Mobile Voice and Data Services
Digital Conferencing Services
Following the success of three collaborative mini competitions for Mobile Voice & Data Services using Crown Commercial Service frameworks, the Scottish Procurement ICT Networks team are currently assessing whether there is sufficient demand for any further mini competitions. We are considering two categories, Mobile Voice and Data Services and Fixed Telephony Services. If you would like further information or to register your interest in participating, please contact David Box (Senior Portfolio Specialist).
