Code of practice for observers at local government elections

Legislation passed by the Scottish Parliament in 2011 allows both individuals and organisations to observe proceedings at local government elections in Scotland through the Electoral Commission’s accredited observer scheme provided for in the Political Parties, Elections and Referendums Act 2000.
