Reducing Pollution and Waste in Scotland

The Scottish Government is committed to reducing Scotland's local and global environmental impact by moving towards a Zero Waste Scotland. This involves encouraging recycling and reducing the traditional reliance of waste in landfill.

Action is also being taken to tackle different types of pollution to help improve quality of life and reduce environmental damage in Scotland.
