Maps
Map 1 Birds of prey incidents reported in Scotland in 2007-2011 shows the distribution of incidents of confirmed poisoning reported to Science and Advice for Scottish Agriculture, SASA, from January 2007 to December 2011.
Map 2 Birds of prey incidents reported in Scotland in 2011 shows the distribution of incidents of confirmed poisoning reported to Science and Advice for Scottish Agriculture, SASA, for 2011 only.

Bird of Prey Poisoning Map 2
The maps show incidents reported to SASA, where birds of prey have been confirmed as poisoned. Where several incidents have been reported for the same area, the number of incidents has been aggregated to show ‘hotspots’; the greater the number of incidents the larger the ‘spot’.
Tables
Please note that the number of incidents does not indicate the number of birds poisoned. For a summary of the number of bird of prey species poisoned over this period please see the Table 1 Birds of prey confirmed poisonings in Scotland in 2007-2011.
In addition to this, many of the incidents on these maps involved the recovery of poisoned baits and poisoned corvids, as well the carcasses of the birds of prey that were poisoned. A full detailed account of each incident is available in Tables 2 - 6 or read the Q&A about the maps project >>
