Water of Leith Flood Prevention Scheme

On September 8, 2005, Rhona Brankin (Deputy Minister for Environment and Rural Development) announced that the report of the Public Local Inquiry concerning the Water of Leith Flood Prevention Scheme had identified a number of shortcomings in the scheme and recommended modifications. As a result, Ministers proposed nine groups of modifications and the related papers are available in the links below.
