Postgraduate Review

On 19 November 2014, the Scottish Government announced the formation of a working group to investigate the barriers to taught postgraduate study for Scottish domiciled students. The group was chaired by Professor Bryan MacGregor, Vice Principal and Head of the College of Physical Sciences at the University of Aberdeen.

The group aimed to identify options on how the barriers to postgraduate study could be overcome to make significant and long lasting change to the number of Scottish domiciled students undertaking taught postgraduate study in Scotland.

The terms of reference for the Postgraduate Review Working Group and the minutes of meetings are publicly available. The Postgraduate Review Working Group’s final report has now been published.
