Better Eating, Better Learning - A New Context for School Food sets the agenda for the coming decade to help drive further improvements to school food and children and young people's learning about food and its contribution to their overall health and wellbeing. Better Eating, Better Learning will help you challenge what you already do, discuss how you can make it better, and then work with others to drive change forward. We believe that better eating and better learning now will bring lasting consequences for Scotland's future prosperity. There are 7 key areas for action:
- Food and Health
- Food and Learning
- School Food and Drink Provision
- The Dining Experience
- Sustainability through Food
- Training and Support
- Communication and Engagement
The full guidance can be accessed at www.scotland.gov.uk/bettereating. Better Eating, Better Learning is supported by a self-evaluation tool structured around the seven key areas.
