FiSIG Terms of Reference

Terms of Reference for the Financial Services Implementation Group (FiSIG) Network - no longer active

The FiSIG Network aligns with the way FiSAB operates - with work streams flowing directly from FiSAB. The FiSIG Network draws on a wide pool of expertise and allows a quick and effective response to FiSAB and Strategy priorities.

The Network's role includes; support the work of the Financial Services Advisory Board (FiSAB), work under the strategic leadership and guidance of FiSAB and engage with the wider network of financial services firms and relevant partners

The FiSIG Network has a core membership of main public sector delivery partners (Scottish Government; Scottish Enterprise; Scottish Development International; Skills Development Scotland); Unite the union; the Financial Services Skills Council; Scottish Financial Enterprise and a 'point person' appointed by each FiSAB member. Delivery Groups and additional project groups directed by FiSAB will support delivery of the Strategy for the Financial Services Industry in Scotland within identified Strategy Pillars of:

  • People - strengthening Scotland's world-class workforce
  • Profile - enhancing Scotland's image and profile as a preferred location for financial services investment
  • Infrastructure - ensuring a fully conducive and supportive business environment
