Publication of NPF3 Main Issues Report in April 2013. Following consultation Proposed NPF3 was laid in Parliament in January 2014.

Finalised version published in June 2014.

Focus now on delivery through the online Action Programme.

Housing Need and Demand Assessment (HNDA) Stocktake: To help to reduce the cost and complexity of HNDAs, the Centre for Housing Market Analysis has developed an HNDA tool using Excel.  The tool estimates the amount and tenure of new housing which authorities need to provide.

Version 2.01 of tool now available. Revised technical guidance and managers’ guide published.
