This Guidance Note supersedes Guidance Note HIGN 2011/03 ‘Low-cost Initiative for First Time Buyers (‘LIFT’) Buy-Backs & Resales’ and sets out the operational guidance for registered social landlords administering buy-back and re-sale transactions under the Low Cost Initiative for First Time Buyers (LIFT) shared equity schemes.

Open Market Shared Equity Scheme & New Supply Shared Equity Scheme Administrative Procedures & Shared Ownership Procedures Guide

This Guidance Note tells you about changes to the priority status within the Low Cost Initiative for First Time Buyers Schemes (‘LIFT’) shared equity schemes and to Shared Ownership. These changes will apply with immediate effect and will apply to the Open Market Shared Equity Scheme, the New Supply Shared Equity Scheme, the New Supply Shared Equity with Developers Scheme and Shared Ownership.

Procedures for Funding of RSL Adaptations in 2012/13 - SUPERSEDES HIGN 2001/02

This Guidance Note updates and supplements SHGN 2001/02 and has been produced to set out the working arrangements for 2012/13. These arrangements will remain in place until further notice, pending the completion of the work of the independent Adaptations Working Group which has been tasked with considering future funding and delivery arrangements for housing adaptations across all tenures.
