Financial Transactions (FTs) is a method of funding which is allocated to the Scottish Government by HM Treasury. FTs can only be used to make loans or equity investments into the private sector, and must be repaid to HM Treasury in future years.
The table below shows how we intend to invest the £340 million budget for the financial year 2015-2016. This includes an additional £125 million allocated to housing in October 2014.
The innovative nature of many of the schemes supported by this funding is associated with relatively higher delivery risk and money may be reallocated as projects develop more quickly or slowly than anticipated.
Links to further information on the schemes which have been announced are shown underneath the table. This page will be updated as further announcements are made.
* A pipeline of potential development routes is under discussion with partners.
More information on the Scottish Government's investment in affordable housing is available on the Affordable Housing Supply Programme webpage.
