The Scottish Government provides direct fundin for twa Scots organisations. In 2009 the Scottish Government assumed responsibility for direct fundin of Scottish Language Dictionaries and the Scots Language Centre. These organisations wis previously fundit by the Scottish Arts Council. By providin direct fundin, the Scottish Government pit thir organisations on siccar financial foonds.
