This Equality Impact Assessment was carried out on the Scottish Government's amendments to the Equality Act 2010 (Specific Duties)
(Scotland) Regulations 2012 to:
• introduce a new requirement on listed public authorities to publish the gender
composition of their boards and to produce succession plans to increase the
diversity of their boards, and;
• lower the threshold for listed public authorities to publish information on their
gender pay gap and equal pay statements, from those authorities with more
than 150 employees to those with more than 20 employees.
