The attachments contain the returns made by interested parties to the review of the Wages Board in Scotland.
The SAWB is an executive Non-Departmental Public Body (NDPB) established under the Agricultural Wages (Scotland) Act 1949. The functions of NDPB’s are normally reviewed periodically. The last review involving the SAWB was conducted in 2008. The current review was announced as part of the Scottish Government’s 2011 Agricultural Manifesto. This made a commitment to review the function of the SAWB during the current parliament.
The returns offer a view on what the agriculture sector want from the Wages Board.
