Town and Country Planning Act

Commentary

1. This Direction is required so that sections 26(6C) and (6D) of the Planning etc. (Scotland) Act 2006 apply where a National Parks authority has functions in relation to planning by virtue of section 10(1)(c) of the National Parks (Scotland) Act 2000.

2. In particular Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park Authority is to carry out the functions of a planning authority for marine fish farming purposes in the marine planning zones designated to it in the Town and Country Planning (Marine Fish Farming) Order 2007 coming into force on 1 April 2007.

3. The Direction came into force on 28 February 2007.
