Inter-Governmental Relations

The Scottish Government engages in regular interactions with the UK Government and the other devolved administrations of Wales and Northern Ireland.

There are numerous agreements and institutions that help to facilitate these interactions, the most important of which being the Memorandum of Understanding and its Supplementary Agreements related to Devolution between the UK Government, Scottish Government, Welsh Government and Northern Ireland Executive.

More information, along with relevant documentation, is available in the links to the left on both the Memorandum of Understanding and the Joint Ministerial Committee for which it makes provision.
